Designated key person

Each year group has a designated key person who will collect the children from their individual classrooms and take them to the club.

Link with school curriculum

We plan indoor activities that link with the children’s topics in school and support them in completing homework.

Children attending the school next door

Our after school club caters for children who are currently attending the schools at some of our locations.

Our After School Clubs

About our After School Clubs

We have dedicated areas for school-age children to give them their own independence. Each room has direct access to our outdoor classrooms.

The age-appropriate equipment in each room is of the highest standard; everything’s kept in tip top condition and regularly replaced and added to.

The club runs from 3.00pm to 6.00pm. Each year group has a designated key person who will collect the children from their individual class rooms and take them to the club. The children are split in to 2 groups ‘Under 8’s’ (Reception, year 1 and 2) and ‘Over 8’s’ (Year 3, 4, 5 & 6) Once all the children are collected, a register is taken and then they have a snack and begin their planned activities for the evening.

The children go outside every night come rain or shine playing sports and a wide range of playground games. We also plan indoor activities that link with the children’s topics in school and support them in completing homework.

Ofsted Reports

We don’t aim to just meet OFSTED requirements, we aim to exceed them. Some see OFSTED requirements as the ultimate standard. We see them as the bare minimum, and always strive to go above and beyond. OFSTED carry out regular inspections to ensure we are compliant with their requirements and effectively supporting children through the EYFS and delivering the aims of the framework.
